Getting from Paris-Charles de Gaulle International airport to central Paris and back:

  • By rail

Line B of the RER rail system connects the airport to central Paris, with a travel time of about 30 minutes to Gare du Nord, one of the city’s main train stations. The one-way fare is €75, including the connection to the Paris Metro.

  • By taxi

Taxis are available at the ranks outside each terminal. The trip to central Paris costs €50 to €55 (night rates apply after 8 p.m.).

 

Getting from Paris-Orly International airport to central Paris and back

  • By rail

Via Orlyval and Line B of the RER rail system: Take the Orlyval shuttle train to the Antony train station (8 minutes), then the RER to Paris (25 minutes). The combined one-way fare is €05.

Via Line C of the RER rail system: Take the “Paris par le train” shuttle bus to the Pont de Rungis train station (10 minutes), then the RER to Paris (25 minutes). The combined one-way fare is €85.

  • By taxi

Taxis are available at the ranks outside each terminal. The trip to central Paris costs €30 to €35 (night rates apply after 8 p.m.).

If you come by train, book with SNCF. It’s the France’s national state-owned railway company.
